Make the regular rate work for you.
A lower recurring price can work when repeat visits take less time. Compare the actual time saving with the revenue you give up.

Start with the first visit
Estimate cleaning time separately from travel and admin. Include supplies, vehicle costs and a share of equipment and insurance in overhead.
Use realistic repeat savings
A familiar layout or maintained home may reduce on-site time. Travel and admin do not disappear. Use zero time savings until you have reason to expect otherwise.
Watch changes in scope
Pets, additional rooms, buildup and extra tasks can change the visit. Revisit the estimate when the work changes instead of treating the original rate as permanent.
See where the price comes from.
3 hours cleaning + 30 minutes travel + 15 minutes admin = 3.75 paid hours. At $30 per hour, plus $8 supplies, $10 vehicle costs and $12 overhead, cost is $142.50. A 20% margin and 3% fee produce a $185.07 floor when rounded up to the next cent. A 15% saving in cleaning time reduces recurring cost to $129. A $200 quote discounted 10% becomes $180, leaving $45.60 after pay, costs and the 3% fee.
Use your own figures. These estimates are in USD, before taxes. Add any fixed payment fee to costs. Round a minimum quote up rather than below your calculated floor.
Is a 20% markup the same as a 20% margin?
No. A markup is added to cost; a margin is a share of the selling price. The calculator divides costs by one minus the margin and percentage payment fee.
